Chapter 19

Oliver

Magda is not thrilled when I called in to take another personal day, that’s for sure. I’m starting to think she suspects I have a drug problem. I’m going to have to work my butt off for the rest of the week to remind her just how good I am. But she agrees to it in the end, and I push thoughts of work aside, determined to enjoy one last day in a fairy tale.

My last. My definite last. I have no more personal days left, and no more excuses that will pass with Magda. And there’s no way I’d ever let Nik call in a favor with the hotel owner.

But it’s easy enough to forget about work when Elliot calls me into the bathroom to wash him down while he lies back, luxuriating. He watches me the whole time without a word, his dark eyes two private universes of his own thoughts. By the time he gets out of the bathtub I’m hard, and his eyes turn knowing as I dry him down.

I’m on my knees, drying his long legs, when his fingers thread through my hair again. I look up at him, my eyes stuttering over his thick cock, then up to his face. He gives a soft smile. Before I can help it, I lean into him, nestling my face into his thigh, my nose almost-but-not-quite brushing against his dick.

“May I, my lord?” I ask, glancing up again. The second time last night, I sucked him until my jaw ached, and I miss that sensation now, his hard flesh filling up my mouth, the taste of him flowing down my throat…

“No, Oliver,” he sighs. “Much as I’d enjoy it, we must be mindful of the clock.”

So I finish drying him, dress him, and then accompany Elliot to breakfast, where he makes me sit next to him, even though I’m supposed to eat with the staff downstairs in the kitchens after breakfast service. And when he announces over his bacon and eggs that I’m staying another day, I catch the look that passes between Zee and Nik.

“…and to be clear, I’d like Oliver excused from all household duties for the remainder of his stay,” Elliot goes on. “I will require his services myself.”

Zee’s face goes stern, but Nik, ever the peacemaker, steps in. “Thank you for being clear about your preferences, Lord Arden. Of course, it’s up to Ollie, though.” He looks at me, and so does Zee.

“You should feel free to refuse, Oliver,” she reminds me softly. “Lord Arden would understand.”

“Naturally,” Elliot says, although I’m not the only one who hears a faint petulance in his voice. He looks at me where I’m sitting across the table from him. “I have already discussed my wishes with Oliver, and he agreed. But if he prefers—”

“No, it’s cool,” I say quickly, looking back at Zee, and then Nik. “I already called work and let them know. I’d love one more day to concentrate on service to Lord Arden. I’m learning a lot, and I… Green?” I finish with an awkward shrug.
